How to Apply for Self-Exclusion

Step 1: Obtain the Exclusion Forms

  • Self-exclusion forms are available at Goldrush Vaal during operating hours.
  • Alternatively, you can request the forms from your Provincial Gambling Board.

Step 2: Complete the Application

  • Visit the casino’s security office for private assistance with your application.
  • Fill out the forms and provide a recent photograph to finalise your request.

Step 3: Submission and Confirmation

  • Submit your completed application to the casino. Goldrush will ensure your exclusion request is communicated to all relevant parties.
  • You will receive confirmation once your self-exclusion has been successfully implemented.

Exclusion Period and Reinstatement

  • The minimum exclusion period is six months.
  • Exclusions are not lifted automatically. To reinstate access:
    • Apply in person at the casino where your exclusion was initiated.
    • Provide proof of counselling from a registered psychologist, psychiatrist, or an SARGF-accredited professional for provincial or national exclusions.
    • Your request will be reviewed based on your conduct during the exclusion period.
